The approach
A great makeup look starts long before the first brush stroke. It starts with understanding who is wearing it, where it will be seen, and what it needs to say.
On a production, that means reading the brief, the character and the lighting, and keeping the look consistent from the first take to the last. For a campaign or a fashion shoot, it means working with the photographer, stylist and creative team so the makeup supports the story. For a wedding or celebration, it means listening — to the outfit, the rituals, the time of day, and how you want to feel when you look back at the photographs.
