The look is broken down into clear steps ahead of the day so it can be applied quickly and identically on every face, and quick changes between segments, such as a stronger lip or a cleaned-off eye, are planned rather than improvised.
Editorial and creative shoots bring a different rhythm, with more time per frame and room to push an idea further. Share the concept early
Moodboards, collection notes and references for the look make the clearest brief. Point out anything that must stay identical across models, such as a brow shape or a lip colour.

Confirm the model count
The number of models, looks per model and planned changes decide how much backstage time is needed. Share the call time and show time once they are fixed.

Arrange a look test
If possible, schedule a test on one model during fittings. It lets the designer approve the look before the show day and keeps backstage decisions to a minimum.
