Film & TV Makeup Artist
Makeup for film productions, TV serials and web series, planned around the call sheet, matched across scenes and kept camera-ready between takes.

On set
Consistent From the First Take to the Last.
On a production, makeup is part of the storytelling. A character’s look has to belong to their world, hold up across a long shooting day and match exactly when a scene filmed on Tuesday cuts into one filmed weeks later. Aarav approaches screen work with that continuity in mind, building each look from the script, the character brief and conversations with the director before the cameras roll.
Not every role calls for transformation. Many scenes need clean, believable skin that simply looks right on camera, while others ask for a character’s fatigue, weathering or a gradual change as the story moves forward. Both are planned with the director of photography’s lighting and lenses in mind, and alongside the costume department, so colour, texture and period detail sit together in the frame.
Enquiries are welcome from individual actors as well as production teams, whether the project is a feature film, a television serial, a web series or a short film shooting in Bengaluru. Share the character requirements, how many cast members need makeup, the shooting schedule and the locations, and the scope, travel and fees are discussed and confirmed directly.
What the service covers
Makeup Planned for the Production.
01Character & look development
Looks developed from the script and character brief, then refined with the director and costume department before the first shooting day.
02Clean screen beauty
Natural, camera-aware makeup for lead and supporting cast, where the aim is believable skin that keeps its tone under set lighting.
03Continuity across scenes
Each look is recorded with reference photographs and notes, so it can be matched across scenes, locations and shooting days that run out of order.
04Touch-ups between takes
Where on-set support is part of the booking, shine, smudging and the effects of heat or long takes are corrected so each setup starts from the same base.

For producers & actors
Preparing for the Shoot.
-
01
Send the call sheet and schedule
Shooting dates, call times and the scene order show when each look needs to be ready. If the schedule is still moving, an outline is enough to begin the conversation.
-
02
Share the character brief
Script notes, references and any look tests already done give a clear starting point. Flag scenes where the look changes, such as a time jump or a turn in the story.
-
03
Loop in costume and camera
Costume colours and the cinematographer’s lighting plans affect how makeup reads on screen. Early contact with both departments avoids corrections on the shooting day.
-
04
Plan for the location
Outdoor heat, night shoots and long location days change what a look needs. Mention where you are shooting and whether there is a dedicated makeup space on set.
